RAIN GARDEN KIT
When rain water flows over impervious surfaces such as rooftops or driveways, it collects pollutants, which eventually end up in our rivers and lakes. Rain gardens will temporarily collect rain water, allow it to absorb into the ground, and filter harmful pollutants before the runoff returns to the groundwater. A rain garden should be planted in a slight depression and should be contoured to efficiently collect the targeted runoff. Pick the mix with your favorite species or use them in combination to add diversity.
