Minnesota DOT Mixes

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has developed seed mixtures for a wide range of ecological conditions. All Mn/DOT mixes are sold on a Pure Live Seed (PLS) basis and the 300 series native mixes require the use of Minnesota certified (Yellow Tag) species when available. Mn/DOT Environmental Services may make substitutions based on availability throughout the year. A complete list of approved substitutions along with the Mn/DOT Seeding Manual can be found at the Mn/DOT Environmental Services Erosion Control website.
